The new BB7V multiband vertical antenna provides coverage from 2 MHz to 30 MHz
without radials and requires the use of a tuner. In its nested configuration it is only 60” long and weighs in at 4.5 pounds. It has 6 telescoping sections that extend to a length of 22 feet when fully deployed. The telescoping sections are self locking (no hardware to lose) and can be raised or lowered in less than a minute. For permanent use the sections can be locked in place with a single screw per section. The extreme ease of raising and lowering this antenna will make it a favorite for those who have antenna restrictions or travelers wanting a quick and easy wide band antenna solution. The mAT-180H provides automatic antenna tuning across the entire HF spectrum plus 6 meters, at power levels up to 120 watts. It will tune dipoles, verticals, Yagis, or virtually any coax-fed antenna. It will match an amazing range of antennas and impedances, far greater than some other tuners you may have considered, including the built-in tuners on many radios.

The mAT-180H is an automatic antenna tuner specially designed for modern ICOM and KENWOOD HF transceivers. It has two control cables to choose from: mAT-CI and mAT-CK. They are suitable for ICOM and KENWOOD transceivers respectively. With matching control cables, tuners can be used for corresponding transceivers. mAT-180H standard accessories only contain ICOM control cable mAT-CI, if you need mAT-CK, please buy more.

When mAT-180H is used in ICOM transceiver through mAT-CI control cable, it is fully compatible with the original AH-3 and AH-4 automatic tuners of ICOM. Transceivers that can use both ICOM tuners can also use mAT-180H, which includes IC-706, 703, 718, 7000, 7100, 7200, 7300, 7410, 746, 756, 7600 series transceivers.

When the tuner is used in KENWOOD transceiver through mAT-CK control cable, it is fully compatible with KENWOOD original tuners, such as AT-250, AT-300. KENWOOD transceivers that can use mAT-180H are TRC-80, TK-80, TS-2000, 50, 450, 480SAT (excluding HX version), 570, 590, 850, 870, 990, etc. Other types of transceivers can use mAT-180H as long as they support KENWOOD AT-300 tuners. KENWOOD TS-430, TS-440 are too old to use this tuner.

The mAT-180H has 16,000 frequency memories. When tuning on or near a previously tuned frequency, the mAT-180H uses “Memory Tune” to recall the previous tuning parameters in a fraction of a second. If no memorized settings are available, the tuner runs a full tuning cycle, storing the parameters for memory recall on subsequent tuning cycles on that frequency. In this manner, the mAT-180H “learns” as it is used, adapting to the bands and frequencies as it goes.

The mAT-10 is a compact and exquisite tuner designed for YAESU FT-817/818, it can also be used in other QRP transceivers. When it is connected to FT-817/818 through a dedicated control cable mAT-CY, it is a dedicated tuner, which can achieve convenient “one-key tuning”. If no control cable is used, it is a universal QRP tuner for all low-power transceivers.

The mAT-10 is connected to the ACC port of the FT-817/818 transceiver through control cable. The ACC interface allows an external device such as a PC or the mAT-10 to control the FT-817/818 by sending it serial commands. The mAT-10 has the function of “one key tuning”. When the multi-function key on tuner is pressed, the mAT-10 will automatically control the start-up tuning of transceiver.

When mAT-10 is used in other QRP transceivers, it does not need control cables and can work only by connecting RF cables. The tuning process can be completed by pressing the Multi-function on the panel, its operation is very simple.

The AA-35 ZOOM is a portable, self-calibrating analyzer, designed for measuring SWR (standing wave ratio), return loss, cable loss, as well as other parameters of cable and antenna systems in the range of 60 kHz to 35 MHz, with incredible ZOOM capability.

The following tasks are easily accomplished by using this analyzer:

  • Rapid check-out of an antenna
  • Tuning an antenna to resonance
  • Comparing characteristics of an antenna before and after specific event (rain, hurricane, etc.)
  • Making coaxial stubs or measuring their parameters
  • Cable testing and fault location, measuring cable loss and characteristic impedance
  • Measuring capacitance or inductance of reactive loads
