A P/N comparison, confirmed by a look under the hood later, showed that the AM IF filter used is the same as in the ICF-SW7600G, i.e. a Murata SFR455I, which is a 6-element plastic cased ceramic ladder filter. Just like in the 7600G, a tuned IFT is used in addition, with an additional one being in use for SSB.
Bandwidth (taken from an old Weltempfänger-Testbuch article, source and measuring methodology unclear):
AM: 3.5 / 10.8 kHz (-6 / -60 dB)
SSB: 3.4 / 10.2 kHz (-6 / -60 dB)
FM IF filters: 2x 280 kHz
Frequency synthesizer / microcontroller: µPD1715G
Spec’d battery life: 10 hours with Sony SUM-3 (NS) “heavy duty” (zinc chloride) batteries, seemingly referring to AM use
Output: 400 mW max @ 10% distortion
Dimensions/weight: 191 x 118 x 32 mm, 615 g (incl. batteries)
