National Hamfest 2026 Auction — Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern registration for and participation in the auction hosted by LAM Communications Ltd. ("we," "us," "our") at National Hamfest 2026, held at Newark Showground, on 25th September 2026.
1. Registration
1.1 Registering as a bidder using this form does not guarantee entry, a bidder number, or the right to bid on any specific lot. Registration confirms your interest and provides us with the contact details needed to allocate a bidder number on the day.
1.2 You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a registration where information provided is false, incomplete, or where we reasonably believe registration is being used for a purpose other than genuine bidding.
1.3 Registration is free of charge
2. Bidder Numbers and Identification
2.1 Bidder numbers will be issued on the day of the event upon check-in. You may be asked to confirm your name and/or registration details at check-in.
2.2 Bidder numbers are non-transferable. You may not bid using a number issued to another registrant.
3. The Auction
3.1 All items are sold "as seen." We do not warrant the condition, authenticity, functionality, or fitness for purpose of any item offered for auction, except where expressly stated by the auctioneer at the time of sale.
3.2 The auctioneer's decision on the conduct of the auction, including disputed bids, is final.
3.3 The highest bidder for each lot, as determined by the auctioneer, will be the buyer. In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer may re-open bidding on that lot at their sole discretion.
3.4 We reserve the right to withdraw any lot from the auction at any time before the sale is concluded, without giving a reason.
4. Payment and Collection
4.1 Successful bidders must pay for and collect won items on the day, by Cash or Card, unless otherwise agreed with us in advance.
4.2 Items not paid for and collected by 3:00PM on 25th September 2026 may be re-offered for sale or otherwise disposed of at our discretion, without refund of any deposit paid.
5. Liability
5.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your attendance at or participation in the auction, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
5.2 You are responsible for inspecting items before bidding. We strongly recommend inspecting any lot in person before placing a bid.
6. Conduct
6.1 We reserve the right to remove any person from the auction, and to cancel their registration and bidder number, for conduct we reasonably consider disruptive, abusive, or in breach of these terms.
7. Changes
7.1 We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of the event applies.
