Covering 3.5 MHz to 55 MHz for transmit and up to 470 MHz for reception, the RST-PORTAWHIP offers broad frequency coverage, integrated manual tuning, and a lightweight stainless-steel construction, making it ideal for field use, balcony setups, and travel operations.

Despite its small size, this antenna provides excellent efficiency for QRP radios and can even serve as a multiband receiving antenna for VHF and UHF monitoring.

🎛️ How to Use

Band Selection: Use the top knob to select the desired frequency range. The upper markings “11–50” correspond to 11–50 MHz, while “8” and “FM” select 8 MHz and FM bands.
Fine Tuning: Use the lower knob to fine-tune resonance and achieve minimum SWR. For best results, use an SWR or antenna analyzer.
Extended Mode (Optional): Remove the whip and connect a 20 m long wire as a radiator — mount it high or across a roof to dramatically increase efficiency.
