The Yaesu FTM-300DE delivers consistent 50W RF output and is equipped with a heavy-duty heat sink featuring Yaesu’s exclusive FACC (Funnel Air-Convection Conductor) – an advanced wind tunnel cooling system to ensure stability even under demanding use.
With real dual band operation (V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V) and two fully independent receivers, the Yaesu FTM-300DE allows for simultaneous C4FM digital monitoring on both A and B bands. Whether you’re monitoring different frequencies or digital and analog signals at the same time, this radio ensures versatility and precision.
A vibrant 2-inch High-Resolution QVGA full-colour TFT display highlights frequencies and operating bands clearly, even in bright environments. The built-in Band Scope function allows real-time monitoring of up to 63 channels centered around the current VFO frequency (21 channels in memory mode), making it easy to detect activity on the band.
The Yaesu FTM-300DE features Memory Channel Band Auto Grouping (MBAG), which automatically categorises memory channels by band. Users can quickly access stored channels via four band groups: Airband (M-AIR), VHF (M-VHF), UHF (M-UHF), and 174-400MHz / 480-999.99MHz (M-GEN).
Audio performance is clear and robust, thanks to a specially tuned 3W speaker. With two external speaker jacks, you can separate VFO A and B outputs or mix both signals into one external speaker for enhanced monitoring flexibility.
Bluetooth connectivity is built-in, enabling hands-free operation using the YAESU SSM-BT10 Bluetooth headset or compatible commercial headsets. The SSM-BT10 includes a PTT button and VOX support, and can be charged using the SCU-41 USB charger cable connected to the controller. The SSM-BT10 provides approximately 20 hours of operation on a single charge.
The FTM-300DE supports both Portable and Fixed WiRES-X Node functions (with HRI-200). Thanks to dual-band digital monitoring, users can participate in WiRES-X communications on one VFO while monitoring local repeaters or simplex channels on the other.
Additional advanced features include:
