Icom PW-1 HF Amplifier offers wide frequency coverage with a 1kW output power, spanning all HF bands plus 50 MHz. It provides a stable, clean, and low-distortion 1 kW from 1.8 MHz to 50 MHz, supporting full duty cycle even during demanding RTTY or SSTV operations and full break-in operation.
Ideal for DXpeditions or contest operations, the IC-PW1 features comprehensive ALC adjustable range internal circuitry, allowing compatibility with almost any HF, 6 M, or HF/6 M rig, including Icom rigs. Its compact dimensions of 350 (W) x 269 (H) x 378 (D) mm, including the amplifier, power supply, tuner, and controller, make it versatile for installation in various shack setups.
Equipped with auto band changing, four antenna connectors, a built-in auto antenna tuner, and capable of matching a wide array of antennas, the IC-PW1 boasts features like a 100% duty cycle, entire break-in operation, automatic AC input voltage selector, and dual CPUs for system operation, monitoring, and control. It also supports automatic antenna selection and fast band/antenna changes, working seamlessly with most HF, 6-meter, or HF/6M transceivers.
