Like the recently launched ID-51E PLUS2 handheld counterpart, the ID-4100E includes new ‘Terminal Mode’* and ‘Access Point Modes’* enabling an operator to make D-STAR Callsign routed calls through the internet, even from areas where no D-STAR repeater is accessible.
• ID-51EEvolving from Icom’s popular ID-31E D-STAR portable, the ID-51E Dual Band D-STAR handportable possesses new features including dualwatch, 500 extra memory channels (for a total of 1,752 channels), automatic position reply (DV), repeater search functions and AM/FM Receivers.
• ID-51E PLUSID-51E PLUS incorporates popular features found in the original including integrated GPS, an independent AM/FM receiver and V/V, U/U, V/U Dualwatch, but also includes enhancements for digital operation and compatibility with the RS-MS1A free Android application.
