Yaesu FT-60 dual-band 2m/70cm handheld offers 5 watts of output on both bands, with wideband reception ranging from 108-520 MHz and 700-999.99 MHz (excluding cellular). It includes an Emergency Automatic ID system that can transmit your callsign and activate the mic if you’re unable to press the PTT switch. For added convenience, it has two programmable keys.
A password feature helps prevent unauthorised use, and radio-to-radio cloning is available using the optional CT-27 cable. Additional features include one-touch NOAA weather (US only), nine DTMF auto-dialer memories, a die-cast weather-resistant case, and an ARTS Auto-range transponder system. It also supports Mono-band and Memory-only operating modes.
