The Icom IC-905 is the world’s first microwave rig covering the 144 MHz to 10 GHz amateur bands in one powerful, all-mode transceiver. Designed for serious VHF, UHF, and SHF enthusiasts, the IC-905 delivers advanced performance in a unique two-part configuration that ensures maximum signal integrity and minimal coaxial losses.

  • 144 / 430 / 1200 MHz: 10 W

  • 2400 / 5600 MHz: 2 W

  • 10 GHz: 0.5 W (with optional CX-10G transverter)

Supports SSB, AM, FM, D-STAR DV/DD, and FM-TV (Amateur TV) for flexible operation across bands and modes.

Place the RF unit at the antenna base to eliminate long coax runs—ensuring maximum transmit/receive efficiency.

All RF control and DC power are supplied via a single controller cable—no external power lines needed.

Digital communication between controller and RF unit replaces traditional coax runs. This dramatically reduces signal loss—critical for SHF operation.
